Director of Business Development



We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Director of Business Development to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Commission paid on sales.


  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople 
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market (e.g. Networking Events, Tradeshows, etc.)
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans


  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, we use Prosperworks)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Proficiency in G Suite (Google Products), a plus!
